ok. problem 1: generally to delete measures it is sufficient to select and press cmd+delete. On my end this shortcut does not work and it is necessary to use the command home>measures>delete.

Why is the time notation so high up? Is it the font or is it possible to move it?

As far as I know, you can only move it horizontally with the mouse ... and not vertically.

Have you also tried control back-space?

do you mean the arrow, the last key on the right of the 2nd row from the top? the one with the arrow pointing left?

What I notice is that the 4/4 is not written with a font consistent with the rest of the score; I am not an expert in Sibelius, but usually, "what" to write in the score using the Jazz font is decided beforehand. If you start with a new document preset with the Jazz font, the program should apply the setting to all elements; if you do it afterwards, you would have to apply the changes manually.

I don't have Sibelius at hand, as soon as I have a moment I'll try a few things, but in my opinion, you should look into this area or rather, if you make a new one from scratch, choosing a 'jazz setting' correctly during the initial phase, do you have the same problem?

I tried with a few fonts and it doesn't do that trick to me, but I have Sibelius 6 and not for Mac.

No, only on this; it happened to me another couple of times. And I don't remember what font it is.

As I imagined, by creating a new project and selecting a Jazz ensemble from the start, it presents a tempo indication font that is consistent with the rest of the score's fonts.

Have you tried starting from scratch?
