Version 2026-08-05.1 · Effective 5 August 2026
Terms of Use and community rules
These Terms are the agreement for using Pianoconcerto Forum, including through the Pianoconcerto Forum app. You must read and accept them before creating an account or signing in through the app.
Pianoconcerto has zero tolerance for objectionable, offensive or unlawful content and for users who engage in abusive behaviour. Accepting these Terms is an essential condition of participating in the community.
1. Service and acceptance
The service lets people read and publish discussions, reply, share attachments, use private messages and interact with other piano enthusiasts. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you understand them and agree to follow them in every contribution and interaction.
The service operator is Pianoconcerto.it. The Privacy Notice separately explains how personal data is processed; the Cookie Policy covers cookies and similar technologies.
2. Minimum age and accounts
To register independently, you must declare that you are at least 14, unless a different mandatory threshold applies under applicable law. We do not ask new members for their date of birth.
You must provide a valid email address, protect passwords and recovery codes, and not transfer your account. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials and must promptly tell us if you believe the account has been compromised.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not publish, send, promote or facilitate:
- threats, harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking, targeted humiliation or calls for violence;
- hatred, discrimination or dehumanisation based on characteristics including origin, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation;
- child exploitation or grooming, sexual content involving minors, or conduct that puts a child at risk;
- pornography, non-consensual sexual content, intimate imagery shared without consent, or gratuitous graphic violence;
- encouragement of suicide, self-harm or other activities presenting a concrete danger;
- illegal activity, fraud, scams, spam, manipulation, prohibited goods or instructions intended to cause harm;
- another person’s personal data shared without permission, doxxing, credentials, confidential documents or breaches of privacy;
- deceptive impersonation, defamation, or infringement of copyright or other third-party rights;
- malware, harmful links, unauthorised-access attempts, evasion of blocks, or abuse of reporting tools;
- any other seriously offensive content or abusive behaviour incompatible with a safe and respectful community.
Civil disagreement, reasoned criticism and musical debate are welcome. Attacking a person, pursuing them or deliberately degrading the conversation is not.
4. Filtering and moderation
We use automated and manual checks to filter spam, high-risk language and signals, unsafe attachments and other likely violations. Content may be blocked, held, restricted or reviewed before or after publication. Filters reduce abuse but cannot catch every violation, so user reports remain essential.
Moderators may change visibility, remove content, restrict publishing, suspend or eject users, and take other measures needed to protect the community and comply with the law.
5. Reporting content and blocking users
In the app, open the visible menu beside a post or a received private message and choose Report to send that content to moderation. Give a clear reason and do not use reporting as retaliation or to silence lawful opinions.
From the same menu, open the author’s profile and choose Block this person. Blocking hides their posts and prevents new private messages between the two people; it can be reversed from the blocked-users list. If someone faces an immediate danger, also contact the relevant emergency services; the forum is not an emergency-response service.
6. Our 24-hour action commitment
We review reports of objectionable content or abusive users and act within 24 hours of receipt. When we confirm a violation, we remove the reported content and eject the responsible user from the service by suspending or banning the account. In urgent cases, we may apply protective measures immediately and retain only the evidence needed for security, appeal or legal obligations.
Clearly unfounded or abusive reports may themselves lead to restrictions. Requests from authorities and imminent dangers receive the priority required by the circumstances.
7. Content you share
You keep the rights to original content you publish. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to what is needed to host, protect, moderate, display, make accessible, translate and preserve discussion continuity while that content remains in the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload. Do not publish personal data, scores, recordings, images or other material that you are not authorised to share.
8. App licence and availability
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app and forum in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you downloaded the app. You may not copy, resell or circumvent its protections except where applicable law expressly permits it.
We may change or discontinue features for maintenance, safety or development of the service. We take reasonable steps to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee that it will be entirely free of errors or interruptions.
9. Suspension, termination and appeals
We may restrict or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, puts another person or the service at risk, evades enforcement or exposes the operator to liability. Action may be immediate where needed to prevent harm.
You may ask for an explanation or appeal an action using the contact below. Account closure does not prevent limited retention required for legal obligations, security, prevention of abusive re-registration or protection of rights, as described in the Privacy Notice.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes receive a new version. When fresh acceptance is required, the app presents the current Terms before sign-in or states that an existing session must be brought up to date.
For reports that cannot be submitted in the app, appeals or questions about these Terms: info@pianoconcerto.it.
Italian law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence or any mandatory jurisdiction provided by applicable law.
