Mmmm I'm starting at a disadvantage, my laptop even with headphones produces a background noise like electrical current. Despite this, I am convinced that it is not the only element preventing me from deciphering the origin for two main reasons:
First of all, I don't know how to decipher the different characteristics.
Secondly, by digitizing and manipulating the sound, Simone has surely made them unrecognizable.
Anyway, in my limited knowledge, I think that the difference between the sounds produced (digital vs. acoustic) cannot be understood once they are recorded.

Chopin and Satie are definitely with digital piano.
