Saturday, April 14th at 7 PM, as part of the events for Culture Week 2012, Il Coro Franco Maria Saraceni will give a concert featuring a cappella music by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Claudio Monteverdi, conducted by Emiliano Randazzo.
On this occasion, we highlight the concluding concert of the Karl Jenkins Project "The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace". Five choral formations are participating: Gruppo Corale Cristallo, Corale Cento Note, Coro Polifonico Liberi Cantores, Ensemble Vocale Notevolmente, and Corale Giuseppe Savani, with the participation of soloists and two children's choirs. The concert will present original music by the Welsh composer Karl Jenkins and will take place in the Papal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls on Sunday, April 15th, 2012 at 7 PM.
