This story about the 500 euro bonus for professors so they can go to the theater seems like a paternalistic and somewhat depressing gimmick to me. A bit like the grocery card for the poor. Increase salaries instead, which are the lowest in Europe. Let professors be free to choose like everyone else.

You are right Rotore!!!!! This was just the blow our already depressed self-esteem needed....the poor professor's card, how sad!!!! I don't even have the desire to worry about it anymore, since we will always be the lowest rung of the ladder in economic terms. Fortunately, we will instead always be more proud and full of dignity for our important role towards young minds.....at least I believe so!!!
