I agree with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, on the other hand, find it interesting. Especially on days when you don't know what to do to kill time (for me, fortunately or perhaps unfortunately, that never happens), but having an application that gives you ideas doesn't hurt. I wouldn't mind an application at all that suggests what gift to give for a birthday. I am always short of ideas in these cases.

I find that a gift is a personal thing, so either I have pre-instructed an application with all the gift possibilities that could concern an interested person, so I've put my part in... or I have to put my part in.

So it's just as well to put my part in "live" and avoid the data entry phase and relative data updating...
