Hello,
i need to buy a new digital piano; I am coming from a Kawai ES3 weighing 19.5 kg, and I would like something that sounds better and is significantly lighter.
In general, the features I am looking for are:
- weighted keys (Full Graded Hammer Keyboard)
- several high-quality piano sounds
- USB midi and a LINE OUT jack to connect it to amplifiers
- weight < 15/16 kg (excluding any stands)
- perhaps also the possibility of layering sounds (e.g., piano and strings).
- maximum cost ā¬600
I went to a retailer who proposed:
- Casio Privia PX-A100 (anniversary version) at ā¬580
- Kurzweil MPS10F at ā¬710
- Orla Stage Talent at ā¬480
Among those, I really like the Casio PX-A100, but I am not convinced that they are the best in the ā¬600 price range (I excluded the Kurzweil, not only because of the cost, but also because I don't like its piano sounds and because it weighs 18.5 kg).
What do you recommend?
I use it a lot at home but mostly for performing concerts; furthermore, it should be considered that I have been playing for 11 years, and since I started using a weighted-key piano (7 years ago), I have always played the Kawai, which is why I am not an expert in brands, models, key action, etc.
Thank you
