Good morning everyone!

Near my house in Florence, in a large shop of which I have been a customer for years, I found these two pianos. The price proposed by the shopkeeper, who is also a famous tuner, is [missing value] with the trade-in of my Diapason 170, which he valued at 3500 euros

I would like advice on the choice between these two pianos:

a Kawai RX-3 from 2002 (no Millenium III) practically new, used very little, with a good timbre for 15000 euros

a Yamaha C5 serial number 39....I think from 1984 with dampers, replaced strings and a new hammer rail for 12500 euros

Both instruments are therefore available for me to try. But I am very undecided! Kawai Rx3 practically new or Yamaha C5 used, which had the action and the old hammer rail that I could see was very yellowed?

Assuming they feel the same after testing them, what would you do in my place?

It is very difficult to evaluate without having tried them. If the work was done well, the C5 should result in being more "docile". They are good instruments nonetheless.
