Hello everyone, I am new to the forum.

I joined because I am looking for a grand piano to put in a living room and I wanted to ask you for advice.

The maximum length of the grand must be 175cm and the budget is approximately €15,000.

I live in Bergamo, and I have visited some shops in Bergamo (San Michele Pianoforti), Brescia (Cavalli Musica), Milan (KF musica).

I have considered the Yamaha C1 or C2.

Essex 173cm grand HERE

I don't know, what do you think? Do you have any suggestions?

I would say Essex

Can you explain to me why you would choose Essex?

I've looked into it a bit and from what I understand, it seems that Essex is very high-performing at the beginning, but loses quality over time. In fact, I was more inclined towards the Yamaha

Essex is an "economical" piano line designed by Steinway & Sons.

I would opt for the Yamaha only if I were going for the C5. You can also find a good used one for less than the budget you would want to invest.
