this piece is dedicated to a girl who is very special to me. To the promises we made to each other, and the number 15, for us 2, is not a random number. Beyond this, I would like to know your opinions. In August and September you gave me some very interesting points of view (both compliments and criticisms) on my previous pieces that I would be curious to read this time as well.
Not bad, the dissolution at the second minute is interesting... it's a shame that it's a somewhat isolated event; perhaps it could have been reused for what I will say next regarding the second section that starts at 2'10"... which in my opinion, probably because of the drums, sounds too much like the first part. It's a pity because melodically and in terms of instrumentation it works and provides contrast (but relatively speaking, as I was saying)... if it were my track, I would work a bit more on this part to try to do something different with it, so as to make one instead long for a handful of seconds of the first part returning to be savored again... perhaps announced by that somewhat neglected dissolution
I find it pleasant and well-balanced. In fact, the battery is almost the same for 5', which flattens it a bit... but much better than the last one you posted
Thank you so much everyone! So are you saying that there has been a step forward?

I think I understand exactly what you mean and trying to imagine it indeed... it would have had that something extra.. This confirms one thing.. never consider a piece finished just because you've just finished it! once finished, you shouldn't listen to it for a few days and only then can you go back to it.. with a "fresh" ear and a mind no longer "used" to the rhythm, so the listening is more detached and objective.
The first part isn't bad, but something new needs to happen in the second. In my opinion, in general, it needs more ambience, especially on the soprano sax and the strings; the sax is too much in your face, with a longer reverb you could push it back a bit, the same goes for the strings which should also be more stereophonically open.
