I don't know what I will have to do from now until June 17th. If I am free, I will surely go to hear Ciccolini as well.

I would like to do a masterclass with Ciccolini, but it is a problem to catch him. He is always in France; he moved there. If anyone should come to know of any date on which Ciccolini does a masterclass here in Italy, I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know.

Yesterday, forgetting the thousand things I had to do, I unplugged and went. A beautiful concert, full of emotions!!
Upon leaving, I asked myself: how can someone have difficulty walking, feel the weight of 87 years, and at the same time play with such naturalness??
Now when I sit at the piano, I feel even smaller than I felt before XD

In my opinion, it's because playing should actually be a natural thing.

Even at a certain age, when the joints are no longer what they once were, do the senses diminish?! and yet...

Ahahaha, Ciccolini is really something else. On YouTube there are videos of him telling some truly absurd anecdotes about other pianists... Must see...

yes yes they are really funny!! From what I hear, I find him to be a person who appears very austere on the surface but is endowed with nuances that hint at, in my opinion, a playful character. It would be fun to have a friendly chat with him.
Volevo aggiungere (contemplando la mia modesta comprensione) che Ciccolini fa un uso del pedale delizioso, una perfezione nei passaggi e un'armonia delle esecuzioni che farebbe drizzare le orecchie anche ad un non appassionato.
