Today I started looking for other software besides the usual suspects (not everyone can afford to spend hundreds of euros and, in the case of "lite" versions, perhaps some fundamental and useful functions are unavailable), among these (there are at least 2 or 3 others) I noticed (in my opinion) that the best one (both in terms of interface and functionality) seems to be Magicscore Maestro.
The problem I encountered in Musescore (which I use frequently) is the impossibility of opening a MIDI file (importing it from another software) without the staves being merged two by two, as if it were a piano staff in any case.
The problem does not occur, however, if the same piece is opened in .xml format, something I pointed out in the Musescore forum, but it is not certain that it will be perceived as a problem.
This is the main reason that pushed me to look for other software.
