I wanted to let you know that this year too I have taken part in the 8Dio composition contest; at the following link you can find my piece “Amazzonia”, a jazz-rock track, if you like it you can give it a “heart”, thank you...
I liked it very much, too bad you don't have a Facebook account so I could give you a nice little heart

Beautiful, clearly seeing the nature of the competition one notices that you pushed a lot on the effects part... it remains nonetheless a very enjoyable piece.
Now that you have used their libraries, how did it go?
It seems like a really good piece to me, it's not tiring ...even if 4 minutes isn't much, it keeps you listening. Even though I am used to listening to you in other contexts, I like it
The results have not been announced yet, but obviously I have no hope from an audio standpoint; I have heard some terrible things from other contestants, even though I am equipping myself to improve my listening skills and my pieces.
What I would like to achieve is bridging the gap that exists between writing and audio production—that is, regarding the things I write, whether they are liked or not, good or bad, I am convinced; whereas on the audio side, I am still very insecure, I feel I do not have the adequate knowledge to best "polish" my pieces, to make them sound as they could.

In effect, it is well written and I like it, but perhaps it lacks that slightly common brilliance that is heard in this genre of pieces.....which you call "polished".
