I was looking at the symphony proposed in CromaDiBrera's topic
http://www.pianoconc...per-piano-solo/
My eye caught the theme (if I remember correctly, it was already the subject of the orchestration seminar) and I asked myself a few questions about the exposition.
I am reporting my considerations and my doubts
Leaving aside the thematic beginning La La, in my opinion, the first theme is anacrusic and is proposed to the first violins 3 times in a row, so: a la la la | sol la la la sol la la la | si si
Precisely, those two si seem to me to be exactly the closing of the first theme, so I wouldn't know how to consider the first two la
Between 9 and 12 there is a connecting episode to the re-exposition of the first theme, based on a fragment doubled in thirds and a sixth; it almost seems like the basis of a false pedal point
At 13, the first theme reappears in the first violins but an octave higher. Mozart goes on to form a sort of stretto where he essentially fully develops the just-hinted false pedal point (between 9 and 12), proposing the theme in an increasingly incessant way that flows into the tremolo leading to the development of the material itself, which closes at 32, where the second theme begins on the upbeat... its head seems like an aggravation of the head of the first theme.
What do you think, how does that beginning fit into the discourse? How can it be defined?
