Hi, I have never personally used Buogo's volume, but I know several teachers who recommend it when one wants to work on arpeggios in a more systematic and progressive manner. As for Longo's 24 exercises on arpeggios, they are certainly a classic and can be very useful for developing regularity, sound control, and finger independence.

If you cannot find them, you could also ask the teacher who recommended them to you if there are alternative editions or collections that contain part of the material. Sometimes some exercises are included in broader anthologies dedicated to piano technique.

Out of curiosity, what is your study level? Conservatory, pre-academic course, or private study? I ask because, depending on the level, there might be other equally valid methods on arpeggios that might also be easier to find.

You could go to your city's conservatory library to consult the books they indicated to you.

Among the usable methods for arpeggios, there is also that of Vincenzo Mannino; you can find something in Hanon as well, and you can work creatively by proceeding through various chord sequences, developing arpeggios over 2, 3, and 4 octaves.

Hi everyone! I have started playing again as an adult after a long time and I find that arpeggios are fundamental, especially for tackling the Romantic repertoire that I love. I am not familiar with the volumes mentioned, but if you are looking for something similar, you might also want to take a look at other more common technical exercises. Perhaps someone here has some advice on texts that are easier to find online or in bookstores?
