I am attaching a photo since I am trying to remove the pedal from the German [edition] and starting the study of the Italian concerto. If I manage to read the first movement by the end of the year, it will become... the New Year's concert..

At the moment, I am interested in knowing whether the fingerings used are good or not.
Measures where I find the fingering a bit strange and difficult in the German [edition] are: (no. 7 with fingers 5.4.3.5 and 1.2.1)--------(no. 8 with 5.3.4.2) --------(no. 9 sliding passage with the thumb from G-flat to F).
For the Italian concerto, I have put some removable marks to facilitate reading.
On the German [fingering], would I put 4 on the E-flat? And put it back on the D.
For the concert, I don't like the fingering at measure 10 at all; on the C it's passable... But personally, I would change it; on D I would put the thumb on the second E and on the D, you have two thumb passages but I think it is more comfortable.
Anyway, remember one simple, simple thing: in Bach, the leaps are almost all staccato, in most cases
Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow then. But which measure of the German are you talking about? The second one? Keep in mind that I play it on the piano and I'm looking for legato... even if you will hate me..
Don't look at me strangely, but the fingerings in the Allemande don't seem horrible to me... they come naturally to me this way. But it depends a lot on the hand and technical habits... and in the concerto I wouldn't change those indicated at all....
Yes, I also agree with Nancy, even though I find difficulty in some passages due to my own habit, perhaps a bit too severe, of holding held notes all the way through with the finger; therefore, many times when holding the sopranos with the pinky, I experience a bit of stiffness. I noticed that Paolo said in one of his posts not to overthink the held notes with the fingers but to help oneself with the pedal in a relaxed way, so as not to make the diction less fluid. I also keep in mind that Antares has a different type of approach than ours... more historical and philologically researched. Anyway, I will take a look at what needs to be done and will provide a summary. I am also waiting for Simone, Paolo, and the others
