Progressive advertising or just advertising?

Maybe I am the ignorant one regarding forums, but my question is this: is it enough for someone to post a link to their own performance to be branded as spam? Everyone has a channel, everyone performs, everyone publishes, and many even have a website. Then at least 70% of those who frequent this forum should be banned!

Dear pianothor, I don't know who you are, I know who I am: my name is Francesco Di Santo, I did 12 years of conservatory, graduated with maximum marks and honors in tradition and second level. I have behind me more than 200 concert performances, 7 years of composition, various masters, 4 publications of a didactic nature, and I am a scholar and "practitioner" of the RUSSIAN SCHOOL, to which I will soon dedicate a specific course for all those who wish to go deeper.

Look Francesco, I think our paths are similar; you probably spent your adolescence in a conservatory, dedicating your after-school time to the academic study of the piano, so perhaps you missed what was happening "outside," and you see pop music as something that still needs to be fully discovered (that can give you back those happy years), whereas I spent my adolescence in the middle of pop/rock/dance music and various rubbish, and only now (at 20 years old) am I about to enter the conservatory to discover, study, practice, and appreciate classical music.

I am not on any academic pedestal (because I still have to get into the academy), and I advised you to give up these insignificant covers precisely because I wasted my most precious years on this garbage that leads nowhere; if you truly have the curriculum you speak of, do not waste it because it is enviable by many, myself included.

PS: Regarding the little songs, I see nothing transcendental in the covers

If you want to share your performances, you can do so freely by uploading your videos to YouTube or your audio files to SoundCloud, or even here on the forum when you write messages (up to 18 MB attachment). By copying and pasting a YouTube link, it is integrated by the forum directly within your post; the same goes for audio files uploaded to SoundCloud. Certainly, you cannot redirect people to your site just because you have integrated them there. That excuse doesn't hold up!

Regarding the last part of your letter, then try to avoid coming here to play "who has it longer" in the first place because it is clearly infantile and in bad taste, and secondly because above here there are also people with a decidedly more respectable curriculum than yours who participate in the life of the forum with the humility that only the wise know how to use... In fact, this is not the first time people come here to flaunt their resumes and declare themselves "competitors"... We get 1500 unique clicks a day and frankly, I tell you this truly as a friend: you are nobody's competitor...
