What help? And if you scanned the bass, I imagine you would be doing everyone a favor; I have the book of basses but I don't remember where it ended up... I've been using his father's for a while now

tomorrow I will have a similar task and since it has been a long time since I played the bass lines, I needed one done well.

As we have already said on various occasions: try doing it yourself and then we will see about giving you some possible advice to improve it... and a lot depends on your level and whether it is a main course or complementary... perhaps a simple, non-ornamented harmonization would suffice for you, or a more complex one with ornaments in all 4 voices... these are things we cannot know in advance.

Never let others do your homework, even at the cost of unfairly being seen as assholes if you don't "do the favor"
In any case, the result would be distorted, because it wouldn't have been "you" doing it.
As for composition types, I absolutely love the fugue, but despite not knowing how to compose one, I wouldn't have someone else write it for me.
It must be conceived by me and not by others.

As for me, at the moment I am harmonizing melodies in the style of Lieder and I won't deny having quite a bit of trouble... especially regarding the decision of which figuration to choose for the piano accompaniment... and usually I consult my teacher before and during!!! I show him a measure with various accompaniments and then he gives me further tips; I wouldn't have someone write the accompaniment for me even if something at the level of Schubert or Schumann came out... especially in that case!

Ehhh if only I had a teacher following me, it's been years since I "abandoned the field".
During this period I am witnessing absurd things (regarding a different genre) and I cannot wrap my head around it.

I am always diving into it headfirst... bass, chants, counterpoints... it seems to be particularly suited for counterpoint...

Well, you have to insist, especially if there is someone following you.

It follows me more or less... obviously it's not as if I were in a conservatory... but he teaches in an accredited institute, among other things... I am just experimenting with some bicinia sine texto at the moment

Someone would say "Arabic for me", I say "eh?" (Y)

Two-voice counterpoints in late Renaissance style, I am using Orlando di Lasso as a model... I have made a 12-bar draft on a French chanson, and I have just finished a longer one of 21 bars on a Gregorian cantus firmus.

The cantus firmus reigns!
