Hello everyone, I am fascinated by the idea of owning a Bechstein upright piano since I am a bit

tired of all the various Japanese, Chinese, and Korean ones... I am looking for a piano with a powerful sound and excellent

timbral and dynamic capabilities, a piano on which one can afford interpretative depth and a beautiful search for sound... now all the Bechstein pianos I see in advertisements are no less than 90 years old... what do you generally recommend for the

purchase of such a piano? I imagine one of the main problems could be the tuning stability..?

Ps. what do you think of this?

Of course, little can be understood from the video. One needs to see the timbre and if it holds its tuning, etc.. The Bechstein, even an antique one, is a beautiful instrument. I know it well. I have also owned two grand pianos of that kind. One must see the condition of the hammers and strings especially and examine it as a whole. By getting it at a low cost, one can think of making it magnificent. Everything needs to be seen
