Without taking anything away from the good Beethoven ... a topic that moves in an attempt to evoke Luca's: beethoveniani
Why Beethinellians?
I would like to propose the Milanese meeting of forum friends dedicated to the compositional school of Bettinelli, to which the city of Milan dedicates a concert on December 3, 2017, at 8:30 PM in the church of San Calimero.
The proposal is to meet in the late afternoon for a little stroll and an aperitivo-dinner; followed by, for those who can, a concert. The program includes choral music in two parts separated by an instrumental intermezzo (I will attach a link to the program later).
Some have already given availability like Gozzo/Armando, Luca Cavaliere seemed available, I had pre-warned Simone and Geppino who, coming from far away, were thinking of organizing themselves (but I wouldn't know). I will try to contact Claudio, etc.
You decide, surely a group of people will find their way ... details to be studied.
Yes, me too... I didn't respond right away, but I will be there

I would have really liked to be there too, but it seems impossible for me to manage to organize myself.... lately I can't do anything because of double shifts at work due to staff shortages....

Ideas for the meeting? (Ale and Luca, since you are deep experts)
good question.... we could meet, as you were saying, in the afternoon for a little stroll and dinner/aperitivo.
i suggest, however, that we meet, if not exactly in the early afternoon, not too late. I would say between 15:30 and 16:00
A place where we can be peaceful.... nearby there are the Giardini Guastalla. And it could be (even just a meeting point to then go elsewhere)... the weather will have its say on what we can or cannot do.
For the aperitivo dinner, I would absolutely stay right next to San Calimero.
There in that street, I believe there is more than one venue. I've never been there, but tomorrow, returning home after work, I'll stop by to see how they are...
But who would we be?... Frank, Armando (and Fiorella... I imagine), Luigi B, me, ........................ ?
So I took a look... the places there on Via San Calimero seem a bit formal to me (like a small restaurant with service). Nice, but not for us since we have the concert shortly after.
I suggest 'La bottega ghiotta' in Piazza Diaz (Duomo area). It is located 800 m from San Calimero.
For the place, I suggest one that is less crowded and eventually... nice and warm.
That is, still in Piazza Duomo but on the opposite side of the gallery.
Namely the portico of the Museo del Novecento... which, if it should rain or be cold, the first ones to arrive can also wait for the others by entering the museum's entrance hall
