Aside from the legendary one by Cathy Berberian, I would like to point out a couple of recordings that seem remarkable to me, that of Catrani and the other by Castellani:

During my research I stumbled upon this one....
Luciano Berio (1925-2003). Sequenza III, for female voice (1966). Dedicated to Cathy Berberian.
For those who do not know the piece, perhaps useful:

From my point of view, Berberian's interpretation always remains the best; in fact, I find that she has a wonderful voice combined with an authoritative personality and extreme sensuality.
Laura Catrani is also very good and excels in all the above qualities, but what sets her apart from the other two singers is the fact that we can see her, which undoubtedly could be an advantage. Her facial expressiveness is formidable, a judgment I cannot make regarding the others.
La Castellani is the one I liked least; I am not very satisfied with her voice.
in effect some of Berio's sequences (see the one for trombone...) are actual pieces of theater and therefore the visual aspect has its importance. it feels as if you can see Berberian even if she is not seen, to me she is unsurpassed. Catrani's interpretation was beautiful. Castellani was also beautiful but, as stated, the visual aspect is missing.
