You have to explain this one to me.
Manlio Sgalambro has died, philosopher and companion of Battiato, etc. Why does Corriere say that he wrote Fra Martino Campanaro and Madama Dore? To me they seemed like older things (cf. Mahler, Symphony No. 1).

Frère Jacques is of the French Frères Jacques dating back to the 17th century. Mahler simply transposed it into a minor key.

I have a doubt, but are we talking about the music or the lyrics? I don't know how obvious it is that both were created by the same person....what do you think?
