Hello everyone. I am turning to you who are surely more experienced than me... I would like to purchase a piano for my 8-year-old daughter who has been studying piano for a year already. I have space problems so I absolutely must settle for a digital one, but I want to be sure of getting a good instrument and not causing damage to the child's technique. Anyway, she would continue to play 1 or 2 times a week on a classic upright piano at her grandparents' house. I studied on an upright and I must say that digitals leave me perplexed, but at least she would have the possibility to practice more. I would not want to exceed, if possible, 700 euros... Besides the acoustic one I have at home, in September I purchased a Kawai MP7 to practice more without driving myself crazy..
In my opinion, from what I have tried, regarding the action and sound fidelity, Kawai hit the mark... but Yamaha was also very good, both for the action and the sound.
Regarding Kawai, there would be the ES 100 B and the ES 100 W (which I have never tried, however) at 650 euros (if they are the younger siblings of mine, they should be just fine, it's just a matter of trying them). Regarding Yamaha, unfortunately, I can't tell you more, let's wait for further answers, bye!
