I had the chance to come across a splendid C.Bechstein from the '70s, a C220 built in the old Berlin factory that no longer exists. Now the C model measures 234 cm. I wonder why there was this change in measurement and if there are substantial construction differences between the "old" and "new" model. I searched on the Internet but unfortunately found nothing.
