I thought that among the many male figures present on my site, it is right to also start valuing female ones.
The first of whom I am preparing a catalogue for, is Cécile Chaminade.
In Italy she is practically unknown, while I found a lot of material in both French and English.
Out of curiosity, I would like to know if any of you have ever heard her mentioned.

Cécile Chaminade, (1857 - 1944) was a student of Bizet and Godard. Active as an appreciated pianist and composer in France, England, and the United States (unknown in Italy), she gave rise to the great French tradition of the chanson.

I know his music, but I have never had anything in my repertoire. French music, in general, I like very much. Thanks to Terenzio for this catalogue
