Hello everyone, I noticed a problem with a 1991 Petrof V; the right end of two or three strings have detached from the soundboard by about 10-13 cm.
This certainly causes a loss of tension with a consequent drop in sound volume. How can this be addressed?

well, how much are they detached? can you see from one side to the other of the brace without problems, or maybe they are still adhering on one of the two sides? even if it may seem like little, 10cm is quite a lot anyway; let's just say it is certainly a delicate, long, and expensive operation! in theory, you have to disassemble the entire piano before working on the soundboard and braces! if you are lucky and you miscalculated the detachment, a re-gluing attempt might suffice or be helpful, but know that generally all pianos with these problems feature a soundboard where the screws from above reach the braces

I'm not adding anything else. Besides, there are clamps with a steel wire and two terminals that allow for clamping by making a small hole. However, at least the hitch pin must be loosened and the tension must be reapplied to the soundboard

The ends of the strings involved in the detachment of about 10 cm are still attached to the soundboard; it is not possible to see through them.
