Good morning everyone. Probably because of being composers, more than some of you will have experience with: digital pianos, software for track layering or score notation, and so on.
I will soon start composition lessons (traditional, at least initially) and I should purchase a digital piano, because since I got married I have been without an instrument and can only play in the evening. However, I studied piano for several years. At this point, I would take the opportunity to purchase an instrument that I know I can connect to a PC.
The question I am asking you is: having to save money on something, is it better for me to choose a good, cheap, used but older digital piano, and therefore with only MIDI output (e.g., Clavinova CLP-120), or a more recent model but with a less beautiful sound (e.g., some Roland model)? I am always talking about pianos with weighted keys.
