Good evening,
I have a doubt about how to achieve the legato at measure 121 of the waltz in question: .
How do you move from B-D# to C#-E?
Do I release B-D# simultaneously and go to C#-E, or do I release the B a little earlier and, with only the D# pressed, move to C#-E?
For the rest of the measure, I assume the principle is the same.

The highest notes must certainly be perceptually legato. It seems quite elementary to me, especially with the convenience provided by this fingering...

The doubt is this. If I have to move from C to D, I leave the C and transfer the weight to the D.
In this case, I don't understand if the two "previous" notes must be left simultaneously.

Sorry Fulvio, there is no doubt. If Chopin wanted the effect you describe... he would have written other rhythmic values. It is a succession of thirds... one goes away and the other arrives LEGANDO
