Hi Antares 86 ....congratulations on the new composer of great distinction who has arrived in this forum.....The great Liszt....I wanted to tell you that I have read the book. I liked it very much and I find it extremely interesting. Who can describe Chopin better, outline his profile, if not someone who knew him and was even bound to him by sincere friendship? I advise everyone to read it. There are many books on Chopin but Liszt's is the one that describes him best....if today we know so much about Chopin, particularly about his character, personality, his way of playing and interpreting his music and that of other composers, it is thanks to Liszt and other testimonies from those who lived close to him.....The great Liszt greatly esteemed and admired Chopin. He was among the first to discover his genius and to admit, unfortunately, that geniuses like Chopin were destined to achieve a glory worthy only at least 50 years after his death....Congratulations again on Liszt!

Moreover, he dedicated a collection of his studies to him, and the analogies between some of his studies and those of Chopin are blatant

well well I started reading the book these days except that...... the first chapters are about the lady Countess Von Sayn-Wittgenstein, man, how heavy she is.... ahahahhahah
