i've been strumming classical guitar as a self-taught player.
i am looking for a chord primer (to be clear, the ones with the little diagrams explaining where to put WHICH fingers, on WHICH fret and on WHICH string). i already know the 'classic' chord positions.
i am referring, in particular, to jazz harmonies, the kind heard in bossa nova, often played
specifically on the guitar. even 3-4 chords would suffice, just to expand my meager, ridiculous, and derisory guitar harmonic background!
to avoid opening another post, I will proceed below. aside from the matter of chords, I would need some advice.
the thing I love most about the guitar (when I strum it) is the arpeggio, but I realize that the sound I produce is not the most satisfying, though I also know the cause (and am aware of it): I am a pianist and I have become accustomed to keeping my fingernails extremely short (so as not to feel them clicking on the keys); therefore when I arpeggiate, I do it with my fingertips but the sound I produce is not good.
for this reason I was wondering, and above all asking you: are there picks that can be inserted (like a ring) on each finger of the right hand, specifically those that do not have a nail? if I am not mistaken, something like this exists for other plucked string instruments (I seem to remember one similar to the lute).
