Hello everyone

Recently my aunt played a group of girls from the 40s (Chordettes) for me who sing in a way that I really like, but I don't understand how they manage to achieve certain sounds with their voices

To me, it seems like they sing by maintaining multiple voices of the same meter but with different notes... But what notes are used? For example, the third or the fifth of a chord? (keeping the fundamental or main theme) and then how does it proceed? In parallel? I just can't understand

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this singing style

Damn, what a phenomenon. Far from being black by chance !!

I wonder if the sheet music with the vocal parts can be found
