Does anyone know anything about the closure of Amadeus (monthly magazine)?

Incredible:

Today Amadeus risks closing, and not due to a lack of readers, but because of the dramatic crisis in the Italian publishing sector, aggravated by the difficult economic situation in which our country is struggling.

Great sadness, I don't know how many issues I personally have bought

I would say that everything is quite clear there: editorial problems which, in other words, mean that there is no longer a publisher willing to take on the honor and the burden of printing it given the costs and the insufficient economic return.

It is important to sign and... above all, buy it!

Meanwhile, the Italian publishing industry is as if it doesn't exist, so there is no point appealing to it

Furthermore, there are readers for whom I haven't understood what the problem is, or rather... before closing down they should at least try to raise the cost (if it is indeed a problem of lack of profit (which is equal to revenue minus costs)).

From what I had gathered from the last issue, it seems that the director maintained they would drastically reduce the number of pages ... I don't remember if there was talk of closure

You think they are so professional that I needed material from the early '90s, without blinking an eye, charging me a single lira and with commendable speed, they indexed the material for me and sent it via email…it's a real shame, I too was a devoted customer. I admit that perhaps a bit less now, but over the years I have accumulated so much stuff that I actually have serious "storage" problems.

From my point of view, it would be a very serious loss
