CM MUSICA CLASSICA - national competition for young pianists (aged 8 to 18)

The CM Musica Classica Piano Competition, conceived and organized by the Associazione Culturale CM of Rignano Flaminio (Rome) under the artistic direction of Alessia Magalotti, is open to children and young people up to eighteen years of age of any nationality; it is divided into two sections: Senior and Junior, with five categories. It includes cash prizes, vouchers for music stores, plaques and diplomas for the winners, and prize concerts.
In recent years, various pianists have participated, coming not only from Rome and its province but also from other regions of Italy, some of whom have obtained recognition and awards in other national contexts.
The competition aims to help emerging musicians and is aimed at students of conservatories, music schools, and academies, between the ages of 8 and 18, divided by categories and sections. Our mission is to establish Rignano Flaminio (Rome) as a point of excellence for new talents and emerging musicians by investing in music studies and the meeting of participants.
The welcoming atmosphere that one "breathes" at CM MUSICA CLASSICA becomes an opportunity for comparison, communication, solidarity, and friendship among the candidates, and furthermore is a way to create culture. The intent, therefore, is to offer young pianists the opportunity to experience a moment of professional growth and maturation, a moment where great music is made, with the hope that it will become an important point of reference for young musicians over the years.
