The CM Musica Classica Piano Competition, conceived and organized by the CM Cultural Association of Rignano Flaminio (Rome), is open to children and young people up to eighteen years of age of any nationality; it is divided into three sections: Prime note, Junior, and Senior with various categories.
Over the years, various pianists have participated, coming not only from Rome and its province but also from other regions of Italy, some of whom have obtained recognition and awards in other national contexts.
The competition aims to help emerging musicians and is aimed at students of conservatories, music schools, academies, and musical high schools between the ages of 8 and 18, divided by categories and sections. Our mission is to establish the festival as a point of excellence for new talents and emerging musicians by investing in music study and the meeting of participants.
The welcoming atmosphere that one "breathes" at CM MUSICA CLASSICA becomes an opportunity for comparison, communication, solidarity, and friendship among candidates, and furthermore, it is a way to create culture. The intent, therefore, is to offer young pianists the opportunity to experience a moment of professional growth and maturation, a moment where great music is made, with the hope that it will become an important point of reference for young musicians over the years.
