Personally speaking, in a Contemporary music context, I would have proposed a more recent repertoire

To be generous, I would say very disappointing and boring. Let's hope it's a "Primal Joke".

Nothing new and repertoire well below expectations... but couldn't they have involved some young people?

In fact, it is by far more interesting to scroll through the Contemporary pieces in this section of the forum. Oh well... if this is a Contemporary music Hub... moreover as a Milan square...?!

Well, what about the buffet and the toast? At least those were good?

Maybe it's just the beginning, then it will become more interesting as it goes!

Bartók and contemporary Cage?!?! O.o

The problem is not just what, but also how they presented it.

Do you have any idea what Boccadoro proposed?! Let's not talk about the 10'' cello beatings on the octave along with a very boring loop... let's talk about the 15'' of a 60s/70s (and even 80s) radio when it wasn't catching the frequency?! (Cage).

Let's not go any further, as I was saying, it would have been better to invite some talented young people... they would have made a better impression.
