FOUR ORGANS FOR THREE ORGANISTS
With the extraordinary participation of Lucia Cirillo
Three organs playing simultaneously, by the hands of Pietro Pasquini,
Michele Barchi and Francesco Zuvadelli. Alongside them, the extraordinary
participation of the Cremonese soprano Lucia Cirillo, at the heart of an
international career. Presented is the most precious and original “Four organs for
tre organists”, the concert scheduled for Saturday, March 9, at 9 PM, in the
Church of San Bernardino, Auditorium Manenti in Crema. Yes, four organs.
Because to the three “positive” instruments (i.e., portable, 2 made by
Giuseppe Tisi of Montichiari and one by the Pontifical Factory “Giovanni
Tamburini” of Crema) which will be placed there for the occasion, the
“host” will be added: the 1866 Antegnati Inzoli organ kept in the church.
But unlike the others, it will play alone (albeit with 4 or even 6 hands),
for sonic and logistical reasons.
The event is organized by the diocesan cultural center “Gabriele
Lucchi”, which this year also does not fail to emphasize the eve of the fourth
Sunday of Lent (called “In laetare”) and its liturgical invitation to
“joy for the Easter now near
