Hi everyone, a friend of mine is about to purchase an upright piano from this company.
He is not a seasoned pianist; he is a sound engineer and strums along, buying it for the pleasure of having it in his house and spending some time playing whenever he gets the chance. Obviously, working in the industry and being a guitarist as well, he isn't exactly naive.
He found it for 1,500 euros, or a little more.
I can't recall the model right now, but I reserve the right to write back later. I don't think it is from the original factory, as far as I believe, given that its age does not exceed 20 years, but from what I understand, it was produced by former workers of the factory who revived the fortunes of this closed house some time ago.
Aesthetically, the instrument is very beautiful; it is completely in burl wood, and it is said that it was commissioned by a wealthy man for his villa, but then the heirs got rid of it. Therefore, its initial value was much higher.
It is currently in Rome and the seller, who is of good reputation I should add, assures its good condition and that he will deliver it to the customer's home, money-back guarantee. He will only keep the 100 euro deposit.
