This gift is possessed by the two great English virtuosos, Michael Copley and Ian Moore, who will perform at the Auditorium on Saturday, April 21st, together with the Orchestra Verdi in the concert "Traveling the world with the Classic Buskers," as part of the "Crescendo in musica" cycle.
Not only "street performers" (this is the meaning of buskers), as they define themselves, but also actors and authors. In their concerts, the two performers provide ample proof of their multifaceted personalities.
Michael plays more than forty wind instruments, discovered during his travels around the world and therefore originating from the folk music of various nations. Furthermore, he is a stunning polyglot and speaks Japanese, Croatian, Polish, and German fluently. A skill that allows him to feel at ease and interact with any audience. Ian, on the other hand, is a keyboard virtuoso and will play two accordions on stage, one pink and one yellow.
Mastery and laughter. Flac and sneakers. Symphonic and folk music. In the duo's repertoire are Haydn and Mozart, Mascagni, Verdi, Bizet, Offenbach, Dvorak, and many others. But every composition, even the most sophisticated, is presented alongside musical jokes and games with the audience, who finds it entertaining and, at the same time, educational.
