Hello, reading a bit about the features of Cubase 7.5 in the various versions, particularly Full and Artist, I cannot understand what these differences consist of that are so large as to justify the fact that one costs twice as much as the other (from the Steinberg website, the Full version costs 599 and the Artist 299 euros). As substantial differences, I note that the Full has unlimited MIDI and audio tracks and the Artist has 128 and 64 respectively (which are anyway an enormous amount), the Full has more plugins and VST instruments, but I use external libraries rather than those implemented in Cubase anyway. The Full has very accurate score editing capabilities, which the Artist does not have, but I use Finale for scores anyway....

In short, does the Artist have some other limitation that escapes me and justifies such a large price difference?

Thanks to anyone who will enlighten me on this matter.

It seems to me like the same difference that exists between Pro Tools Le, HD and HDx. Number of tracks and a few other little things. The versions should be chosen based on usage. If the artist version is enough for you, as it seems to be, proceed with the purchase...
