True artists, born in the avant-gardes and their surroundings, have not been lacking: from Boccioni to Carrà and Palazzeschi, to Picasso, Schoenberg, Stravinsky, Mayakovsky, Buñuel… They are easy to recognize: they do not renounce technique; on the contrary, they develop it, they rethink it to grasp more meanings, not to abolish them.
It doesn't make a wrinkle, I would say. The problem is that... "Being unable to judge anyone anymore due to the modern respect for the individual and their expressions, no one will be judged and therefore..." The entire system of judgment collapses... to put it briefly, regarding who does something well and who does it poorly.
Technique, in my opinion, serves as a universal law; as I always say "Would you have yourselves judged by a judge who cannot refer to a common law and stability shared by all?"
And it's an old story by now; the new does not consist in "doing new things" but in "looking with new eyes" at those who have nothing to say and should remain silent or rather... change professions, but... unfortunately, that is not the case.
