Good morning, I wanted some advice if possible on the best practices to follow on pianos that have not been tuned for a long time or with strings that are prone to breaking.
I know that one should avoid jumping drastically to 440, but stay a bit below and then always loosen the tuning pin in a counter-clockwise direction before approaching the optimal point (as always).
I had heard mention of 435 and 432 Hz, but they seem like random numbers to me.
