I wouldn't be able to reset in a single night the emotion stirred by a beautiful performance. The next day I would still be savoring the "silence" after the music, for which I wouldn't be able to commit myself to a new project.
We are talking about 150-200 performances a year ...
... wonderful to succeed at it, but one risks indigestion (I hope not an eventual "indifference").
