Ars Citarae Novae - Rome 2015
Friday, June 5, 2015, Ars Citarae Novae, the international classical guitar festival, will celebrate its tenth anniversary. Organized by the San Michele Arcangelo Parish in Pietralata and directed by Edoardo Catemario, this year's festival will consist of two concerts.
On June 5, Daria Fedotova will open the season with a solo recital performing music by Barrios, J.S. Bach, Duarte, Frescobaldi, Gangi, Zammartino, and Albeniz. Meanwhile, on Friday, June 12, it will be the turn of Neapolitan Daniele Aiello, who will perform music by Barrios, Bach, Tansman, Castelnuovo Tedesco, Paganini, and Legnani in a brilliant and engaging concert.
The concerts will take place at the San Michele Arcangelo Parish in Pietralata at Largo Geltrude Comensoli, 6 (Rome) at 8:30 PM. Free admission.
