It is right to remember, however, that the Cirinnà bill does not modify the current text on assisted reproduction at all, which remains as it is, but is limited to establishing that the children of the biological parent who already live within a same-sex family, in the event of their death, can be adopted by the other member of the couple and, therefore, ultimately, can remain within the four walls in which they have grown up until that moment and close to the person who has loved and cared for them, sharing this burden and honor with the biological parent. And this rather than being handed over to relatives more or less near or far, with whom one does not know well what their relationship or desire to be there might be.
And at this point, it would therefore be legitimate to ask oneself whose heart these children's futures truly matter to!!!
It is also right to remember that those parliamentarians you refer to may perhaps also be voted for by Arci-gay but mostly, also by many people who are not part of Arci-gay but who are absolutely in tune with all these issues... such as... me!
