hi everyone,

i am writing a teaching exercise with Finale, a staff filled with a series of musical figures; in some scattered measures (e.g., the third and the seventh) I would like to write some melodic configurations but erase the staff lines. is it possible? and if so, how? thanks in advance

Press the Arrow icon (Selection Tool)

Select any measure, right-click mouse --> Staff Style --> Define staff styles

New (choose a name! For example "Without lines")

Where it says Staff Appearance: choose --> O-lines with full stems

ok

Then press the treble clef icon (Staff tool)

Highlight the measures or portions of them

Right-click mouse on the selection

Choose the "Without lines" option... that you previously created
