Imagining the blacks are longer, fixing the depth of the whites at 10 mm for example, the blacks should have the same depth, or rather they should have it at the intersection of their extensions relative to a line passing through the ends of the whites, or else the depth of the blacks should be equal to that which we have on the whites on the line passing through the ends of the blacks. Therefore, if this were the case, using a 10 mm gauge for the whites, long enough to touch the blacks, the depth of the latter should be equal to the measurement the gauge has on its inner side touching the ends of the blacks. When fingers play on the black keys (which are already more difficult in themselves, having a lever almost 4 cm shorter), the pianist will be facilitated if the black key has "almost" the same depth as the white key when pushing both at the end.
