Hi,
i am having problems in this regard: from the same PC, headphones, etc., if I listen to an audio track, I hear it clearly across all registers; however, if I listen to a track created by a MIDI sequencer, the volume is significantly low and the frequency extremes are lost... particularly in the bass register.
What could this depend on?

Regarding the volume, the first and simplest step is to check its settings on the appropriate audio controllers page; there is also (normally) the one for MIDI synthesizer playback; regarding the insufficiency of the bass register in particular, I think it depends on the type of MIDI library currently in use; normally MIDI CCs allow you to modify standard parameters such as volume, velocity (practically the force with which a key is pressed on a real piano), pan (the positioning of sounds in space, within a certain range from left to right and vice versa), and other standard controls defined by the MIDI protocol; but I am not sure if there is something to modify the volume of a specific register, I don't think so, unless the sound card has a specific equalizer for the MIDI channel.

Thanks Piccinesco, but the same MIDI tracks from another PC sound fine (I am referring to the stops) ... so I don't attribute the problem to the libraries ....

Question: are you using a synthesizer to play the MIDI file or did you perform a bounce with libraries?
