hi guys, I'm using a Baby Grand sound library from Imperfect Samples, a very beautiful sound in my opinion, but the M-audio keystation 88 isn't the best, and since I can't afford a serious digital piano like a Roland RD etc., I'm thinking about getting a Casio Privia 350, a Yamaha DGX 640 or something else in this price range, what do you recommend? I'm fed up with these crazy computer dynamics; naturally, on a real piano everything is much easier, but unfortunately keeping one in my small apartment in London is out of the question
I would be inclined towards a Casio; in this video you can see how it even surpasses a Yamaha P155, since the latter uses one miserable sample or something like that
It's true, the other day I stopped at a music store near my house to buy some cables (I'm practically a regular there now and they often ask me to try out some keyboards). I tried two digital pianos, a Yamaha and a Casio. The Casio left me very satisfied. The keyboard feel was better than the Yamaha and even the samples seemed very good!
Obviously these are my personal opinions, I wouldn't want to risk a lawsuit from Yamaha (especially since I actually own one of their keyboards). But one tries and judges and says what their impressions are.

thank you Simone, I continued looking for reviews from pianists and it really seems that the new Casio are rated higher than the Yamaha, without even any doubt, just yesterday I was reading about a teacher who made a comparison between the two and recommended the Casio by far.
Sorry for the obvious questions, but where can the video tutorials on technique and the comparison of sound libraries be seen? I found your site through your video on youtube ...bye and thanks

great, the tutorials are truly impressive, the only technique video I have seen is Seymour Fink's, very good, I have been looking for others like it for a long time....thank you for your fantastic contribution!
I also find the Casio better than the Yamaha; I tried two just a month ago and it completely overturned my previous opinion, which I think was more out of respect for the big brand than anything else (even though I own a Yamaha myself). I believe I tried a Privia specifically
