Hello everyone, I would soon like to purchase a digital piano and I would like to choose between the following (unless you have something else to suggest):
Yamaha clp635 1500€
Kawai cn37 1600€
Roland hp504 1200€
Casio ap700 1600€
I only managed to try the clp635 and it made a good impression on me, as well as a low-end Roland f140 which I didn't like very much; I should mention that I have always played on arranger keyboards, so it is not difficult to impress me by moving closer to weighted keys.
I would like the action to be close to a grand piano but I am not very expert. I await your advice.

I tried the 635 a short time ago and I liked it very much. If I'm not mistaken, in the sound settings it has the dedicated button for the Bösendorfer voice.
I also tried the Roland but even I didn't like it... the sound is too modern, less soft, and dry. Furthermore, the dynamics are less manageable than the Yamaha.
I believe it's still the old Clavinova, right? Or an evolution of it.
Anyway, I will go for the 635 in case I decide to get it, or a baby grand from the same series.
You have the direct key to the Bösendorfer sound and it also has the CFX concert sampling, both very beautiful, stunning.
I recently also tried a Kawai, the CA78; unfortunately, I only found this one which is out of my budget. The key touch is different from Yamaha; the system is called Grand Feel 2. In effect, the feeling is established immediately and I liked the Kawai mechanics more than the Clavinova; the wood of the keys makes a difference. However, I was looking for the CN37, which should be the rival to the CLP635. I also tried a Kawai ES8 which has the same mechanics as the CN37 but did not excite me. In short, more confusion than ever regarding the choice.
I am making a clarification regarding the Kawai ES8; I wrote that it did not thrill me, but only because it is a stage piano, in fact, the sounds of the various grand and upright pianos it has are wonderful, and it also has additional functions such as rhythms with accompaniments that are very well done for being a piano, and USB recording in wave or mp3. So it is the design that is different from what I am looking for, a pity.
