hi everyone,

i have a small problem:

about 3 years ago I purchased an Axiom 61 master keyboard with the intention of assembling a small home recording and composing station at my house. for a series of reasons I had to suspend

this project. now I am trying to pick this up again.

a short while ago I was rereading the installation instructions for this keyboard and in one paragraph it advised me to download the DirectLink software from the m-audio website, which would allow for the automatic configuration of the keyboard's sliders and potentiometers, depending on the software that will be used accordingly. in my case, I would use it with Logic Pro 9.1.8 and Mainstage 2.1.3

i followed the procedure up to a certain point....miraculously and disastrously....because it is written in English (mea culpa and mea culpa!). i manage to get up to a certain point and then I can no longer understand what to do. could anyone give me some advice regarding this?

the website indicated by the instructions is: www.m-audio.com

thanks and have a good evening

Sorry, what specifically do you need to do, I didn't understand... Do you need to use faders, panpots, and keyboard buttons to automate in Logic?

Can you put the direct link to the manual and indicate the page where you don't understand what you need to do?

I have the same master as you, I use the direct link on Cubase and it only serves to make the faders work as mixer channel controls and the play/stop buttons etc. etc., it's practically useless, don't waste too much time on it...

thanks to everyone for the contributions, especially to simone.

in the end of the day, it seems to me that I've understood that this damn DirectLink isn't that extremely important.

perhaps the best thing would be to configure the keyboard manually based on what one does (or would like to do!)....

am I right? see you next time!
